Laser Hair Removal Upper Lip

What antiviral medice I need to take for upper lip herpes before hair laser removal treatment?
Treating skin for hair removal with laser can induce an outbreak episode of herpes simplex virus in the lip. I know that in some clinics, the nurse ask you to take an antiviral medicine one day before the treatment. Does anybody knows what medicine and what amout? I found this page with some information but is still not complete clear, see the part of oral medications: http://www.medicinenet.com/herpes_simplex_infections_non-genital/page6.htm
I use Famvir for herpes/coldsores. Not sure of the dosage, but you take it once daily for five days.

Remove Hair By Laser

How do I get my back hair removed by laser treatment?
I have a very hairy body and my back is the hairiest of all. I was considering laser treatments if that is an option to remove the hair. Does anyone know if that works, what the cost might be, and how hard it will be to get this done?
i know someone in this feild … it does work, but you have to go back every few months and do it again … you do it in treatments. It works and lasts if there isnt any medical complications or other medical reasons for your being very hairy, but chances are if there were you would already know about them… it’s fairly expensive and not hard if you find the right place.
good luck !

Laser Hair Removal Underarms

Has anyone had laser hair removal on their underarms?
Just wondering what the experience was like and if you would recommend it.
My mother bought a laser hair remover and i used it on my legs, it didn’t hurt except for when i felt a slight zapping sensation.. it wasn’t bad or anything!
I haven’t done underarms, but i don’t assume it would be much different!
you have to get a few consecutive treatments for your hair to go, but other then that i would recommend it! (im lazy and well and Truly over shaving and waxing!)

IPL Photofacial

What kind of facial skin treatment should I get?
I want to select one treatment (the longer lasting, the better) to address all of these concerns:
-tighten pores
-remove or lighten small red spots from broken capellaries/acne scars
-fine lines around eyes, on forehead, and sides of mouth
-general firmness and tightness
I was thinking of getting an IPL photofacial, but I am wondering what might be better?

Hair Removal: My Experience With Light Based Hair Removal
While laser hair removal is one of the most well known methods of hair removal, pulsed light hair removal is a newer technology that is believed to offer good long-term results and can be a viable alternative to laser treatment.
Some forms of light-based hair removal might advertise themselves as offering permanent hair reduction which essentially means that while 100% hair removal might not be achieved, a long term decrease in the amount of unwanted hair might be.
It’s often a matter of advertising so you need to do your research, find a good practitioner and have realistic expections if you’re thinking about this sort of hair removal for yourself.
While electrolysis is the only hair removal method widely regarded to offer true permanent hair removal, it can be time consuming and expensive to remove large amounts of unwanted hair.
I used light-based hair removal to get rid of some excess hair on my shoulders and back and overall I have to say the experience has been positive.
I have not achieved 100% removal of unwanted hair but I’ve certainly noticed a significant improvement.
As far as how long the results will last, I’m going to find out in the next few years! We’ll see if it grows back or not.
The bottom line is that you really need to learn to tell the difference between hype and truth when considering hair removal options.
The clinic I went to did not promise anything they couldn’t deliver. Not once did they promise “permanent hair removal” instead suggesting that with repeated treatments, I should see a definite reduction in the amount of unwanted hair.
With repeated treatments, I have achieved this result.
Effective long term hair removal can be dependent on a number of factors such as your skin color, skin type, hair color, type of hair removal system used, quality of practitioner and other factors.
Temporary and permanent hair removal technology is evolving constantly and is relevant to both men and women who want to remove unwanted hair.
